Dr. Blair Green PT, DPT, OCS, PHC Founder of Catalyst Physical Therapy

Dedicated. Committed. These are 2 words that come to mind when people think of Dr. Blair Green. She is fully engaged in her work, and in all of the things she takes on in her life.

Always striving for excellence, Blair graduated from Duke University and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University. She moved to Atlanta upon graduation, and began her career as a Physical Therapist. She spent the first 4 years of her career in an orthopedic setting, where she found a special interest in the care of pre-natal and post-partum women. She also immersed herself in continuing education, developing her clinical skills, and started teaching and practicing Pilates.

Lauren Bober PT, MPT, CLT, CES

A family life event occurred that forever changed the trajectory of Lauren’s career: Lauren’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Lauren used her orthopedic physical therapy skills to help her mother during this time. What she did not expect was that this experience would ignite a passion and redirect her career towards a niche practice in breast cancer care and post-surgical rehabilitation. After working a number of years for TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, she is ready to further grow and expand her services at Catalyst Physical Therapy.

Lauren’s goal is to empower women while treating the impairments and issues related to surgery and the treatment of breast cancer.  Lauren is uniquely skilled in meeting the needs of all post-surgical clients, in addition to her expertise in providing compassionate care for breast cancer survivors and their caregivers. Her approach to physical therapy helps patients find relief from pain and physical limitations throughout all stages of healing and treatment.  Her certification as a lymphatic therapist further adds to her unique skill set, as she is positioned and well versed in helping patients ease the discomfort that occurs with swelling not only during cancer treatment but also following cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Becky Word  PT, DPT

Becky is a wife, mom of two girls, and brings over 10 years of experience as a physical therapist to Catalyst Physical Therapy. She graduated from Georgia State University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012.

It was Becky’s personal experience of pregnancy and postpartum that drove her passion to pursue pelvic health. After giving birth to her first daughter in 2016, she immediately recognized the need for support for this population within the healthcare system. She already had a thriving orthopedic practice, but after realizing that pregnant and postpartum care deserved more attention she decided to go “all in” with her career and focus on pelvic health. She never looked back and has since worked in both hospital-based and private settings that deal exclusively with women’s health needs.
