Dr. Judy Rossi PT, DPT, PHC

Judy began her journey in pelvic health after spending most of her career as an orthopedic physical therapist. It was her own physical challenges that were solved through pelvic health physical therapy that motivated her to specialize in pelvic health herself. While this occurred later in her career, she has truly found her passion in this realm. Becoming a part of the Catalyst Physical Therapy team allows Judy to devote her energy to helping people with pelvic health challenges. She believes in a holistic approach to healing, seeing the many parts of the body that all need to work together as a team rather than treating the pelvic floor as a “part” treated in isolation.
Judy brings a unique perspective to Catalyst Physical Therapy, as she has many years of clinical experience and is a former physical therapy practice owner.
Judy graduated from California State University in Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She moved to Atlanta in the early 1980’s and raised her family of three boys while working as a physical therapist in an orthopedic setting. In 1993, she founded Spine and Sport Physical Therapy. She went on to open Canton Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation in 2006 which expanded into a large center employing several therapists. After raising her children and growing her business, Judy decided to continue her education, completing her doctorate degree in physical therapy and pelvic health specialist certification through Evidence in Motion. She has reached a point in her life where she has decided to focus all of her energy on her patients. She sold her business in 2020 and now is re-energized, treating patients full-time in the field of pelvic health.
Judy’s patients and colleagues describe her as dedicated, empathetic and compassionate. She understands that they are dealing with difficult and uncomfortable issues when seeking care and is able to put them at ease. Judy also enjoys training physical therapy students, sharing her knowledge with them and helping mold them into great therapists.
In her spare time, Judy is an avid exerciser. She is a former competitive amateur body builder and still loves lifting weights. She also enjoys running, walking, and playing ping pong with her husband and biggest cheerleader, Matt. Her family has grown; she loves spending time with her three sons, three step sons, daughters in law, three grandsons and one granddaughter. Judy is grateful to join the Catalyst Physical Therapy team, as she now has the opportunity to not only do what she truly loves, but also has the time to finally stop and smell the roses.
